School Profile

The school christened after- the philosopher, social reformer and above all the patriotic saint of India – Swami Vivekananda is situated on a hillock located in the remote hamlet of Palmed in the eastern part of the Malappuram District in Kerala.

The school, which had a humble beginning, was founded in the year 1963 as a Lower Primary. It was upgraded as an Upper Primary School in 1967 and as a High School in 1984. It was elevated as a Higher Secondary School with one batch in 1991 and the inauguration of the course was made by the then Industries Minister of Kerala Sri.P K Kunhalikutty.

Admission process to the first year of Higher Secondary Course starts immediately on publication of Kerala SSLC Results. All candidates who secure D+ or above grade in the SSLC or equivalent examinations may apply for admission. Students seeking admission under open merit quota may submit their application online. Those prefer admission under Management quota may collect their application form from school office by remitting the prescribed fee.

After submission of online application students may submit a print out of application along with copies of certificates to prove their educational qualification, Date Of Birth, Religion and Community etc. at the school office along with fee Rs.25/-on or before the last date as prescribed by the government.
